The large number of European researchers conducting research abroad represents an untapped asset for European research. FRENZ is seeking to establish a Network for European Researchers in New Zealand which will provide information concerning:
research in Europe;
opportunities for New Zealand-Europe research collaboration; trans-national mobility and;
funding
FRENZ is therefore conducting a survey of eligible participants in order to gather information regarding:
motivations for mobility;
personal experiences and perceptions of New Zealand-Europe research collaboration and;
information and services researchers would like to see FRENZ provide through the Network for European Researchers in New Zealand.
This study will provide a clearer picture of both the number and motivations for researcher mobility and the opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest. The analysis will be presented to the European Commission and the New Zealand Ministry of Research, Science and Technology (MoRST), in order to stimulate policy dialogue with a view to enhancing New Zealand-European research collaboration If you are a European researcher conducting research in New Zealand, we would like to invite you to participate in this survey by clicking on the link below.
