Target audience: research office staff, and other administrators with a role in advising researchers on opportunities and proposal development.
Introduction: In the first two years of FP7, the participation of NZ’s researcher in the has increased by 50%, compared to FP6 (2002-2006); and the success rate of NZ organisations involved in proposals has doubled, from 1 in 5 in FP6 to 2 in 5 in FP7. However, FP7 remains only a small part of a research managers portfolio.
This course, over two days, aims to help research managers to develop the necessary understanding of the Framework Programme (opportunities and rules) and effective strategies to enable them to become a knowledgeable first port of call for their researchers.
