Target audience: researchers and administrative staff who want to hear the latest about the 2011 workprogrammes and calls.

Event overview: The aim of this information day is to provide researchers with the latest information on the 2011 calls for proposals. The focus will be on the subtle changes in the EC approach from one call to the next, based on feedback from previous calls.

Without going into detail on specific topics, this event will address those areas specifically highlighted where there has previously been a lack of interest/experience and where NZ participation might add value.

Further, the event will look at strategies to identify relevant opportunities, and potential collaborators.

Expected learning outcomes:

Participants will:

• Be able to locate, understand and search documents relevant to the calls
• Have a broad knowledge of the proposal, evaluation and negotiation phases
• Develop strategies to identify potential collaborators
